The invention relates to a decoupling element (1) for an ultrasound sensor (10), the decoupling element (1) being deformable and preferably ring-shaped and being provided to surround an ultrasound generator (11) of the ultrasound sensor (10) at least in some regions and to be inserted at least partially, at least indirectly into a receiving section (20), in particular into the receiving section (20) of a bumper (25) of a vehicle, in order to seal off a gap (8) running round radially between the ultrasound generator (11) and the receiving section (20), and the decoupling element (1) having a structured circumferential face (5). According to the invention, the structured circumferential face (5) is formed only over a part-region (hs), which faces away from an end face (S) of the receiving section (20), of a height (hE) of the decoupling element (1), wherein the structured circumferential face (5) is assigned to a region of the bumper (25) without receiving sections, and wherein the end face (S) is arranged on the side facing away from the ultrasound generator (11), such that the decoupling element (1) seals off the gap (8) in a region facing the end face (S) of the height (hE) of the decoupling element (1). |
