[Problem] To provide a sound generator capable of generating high-quality sound having little distortion and a sound generating apparatus and electronic device using the same. [Solution] A sound generator is has a vibrating body (21a) having two surfaces positioned so as to have a space therebetween in a first direction; vibration driver (11) and vibration driver (12), which are provided on the vibrating body (21a); damping material (31), which is provided on the vibrating body (21a) and has a portion (31a) that overlaps with vibration driver (11) when viewed from the first direction; and damping material (32), which is provided on the vibrating body (21a) and has a portion (32a) that overlaps with vibration driver (12) when viewed from the first direction. Damping material (31) is disposed so as to cross over at least a part of segment (11h), which is a portion of the contour of vibration driver (11) that does not oppose vibration driver (12) when viewed from the first direction. Damping material (32) is disposed so as to cross over at least a part of segment (12h), which is a portion of the contour of vibration driver (12) that does not oppose vibration driver (11) when viewed from the first direction.
