<p>Provided are a meter sealing device and a meter sealing method. The meter sealing device, which comprises a meter body for measuring and displaying water consumption, and a body cover for protecting the meter body, comprises: at least one sealing wire which penetrates through a region in which the meter body and the body cover are overlapped; an object to be inserted which has a guide coupling part, whose upper part is opened, in a predetermined depth formed on a first body integrally connected with one end of the sealing wire, and has a through hole formed on the first body so that the other end of the sealing wire can be communicated with the guide coupling part; and an inserting object which has a second body which has an elastic hook piece, whose outer end is elastically in contact with the guide coupling part to prevent the second body from being separated outward, protruding on the outer surface of the second body, and is pressurized to be disposed on the guide coupling part to generate fixing force to fix the sealing wire interposed between the bottom of the guide coupling part and the bottom of the second body.</p> |
