PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which inhibits activity of anti-apoptosis BcI-2 or BcI-xL protein, and a composition containing the compound for treatment of cancer.SOLUTION: There are provided a compound represented by a formula (I) which inhibits activity of anti-apoptosis BcI-2 or BcI-xL protein, where Ais N and the like, B, Dand Eare an alkoxy group and the like, Yis H and the like, and Zis a substituted phenyl group and the like, and a composition containing the compound for treatment of bladder cancer, brain tumor, breast cancer, bone marrow cancer, cervical cancer, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, colorectal cancer, esophageal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, lymphoblast leukemia, follicular lymphoma, T cell- or B cell-originated lymphatic malignancy, melanoma, myelocytic leukemia, myeloma, oral cavity cancer, ovarian cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, prostate cancer, small cell lung cancer, or spleen cancer. |
