Provided is a refrigerator having a reinforcement structure, which can reduce the amount of deformation of a body thereof by improving the rigidity of a body, which is reduced as an insulation thickness is reduced in order to increase the inner volume of the body. The refrigerator includes an electrical box in which an electrical component for controlling an operation of the refrigerator is received, the electronic box being arranged inside a hinge cover provided on the front of the upper portion of the body, thereby improving a space availability. In addition, the refrigerator includes a reinforcement plate, which is made of steel and is provided inside the electrical box, to prevent fire from spreading to the outside of the electrical box when the fire occurs in components within the electrical box. |
