<p>A method of authenticating a user at a server device associated with transferring data is disclosed. The method is performed at the server device having one or more processors and memory for storing programs to be executed by the one or more processors. The method includes receiving, from a terminal device associated with the user and in response to a request for transferring data received at the terminal device, data associated with the user's face and a user identification uniquely associated with the user. The method also includes generating a matching result by comparing the data associated with the user's face with face data identified by the user identification that is stored at the server device. The method further includes sending the matching result from the server device to the terminal device such that the terminal device responds to the request for transferring data in accordance with the matching result.</p> |
