The present invention provides a method executed by a user equipment. The method comprises: monitoring a physical channel, the physical channel being transmitted in a repetition level; and receiving configuration information of reconfiguring the repetition level, an initial repetition level being determined by a random access process. The configuration information of the physical channel comprises at least one of the following: the repetition level of the physical channel, an initial subframe sequence number, the number of times of repetition, a used time-frequency resource, and a time-sequence relationship. The present invention also provides a method executed by a base station and the corresponding base station and a user equipment. By using the present invention, the resource utilization rate of LTE supporting an MTC user equipment can be increased, the spectrum/energy efficiency can be improved, and time/frequency resource conflicts among cells can be reduced. |
