An air-conditioning device (100) equipped with a case (1) provided in the ceiling (15a) of a room (15) which is a space to be air-conditioned, and also equipped with a centrifugal fan (3), which is a ventilating part, and a heat exchanger (6), which are positioned inside the case (1), wherein: the bottom section of the case (1) is provided with at least one air outlet (2b) and at least one intake port (2a); a stepped section (10) for projecting toward the space to be air-conditioned is provided between the intake port (2a) and the air outlet (2b); and, for example, the intake port (2a) and a projecting end section (10b) of the stepped section (10) may be positioned on the same surface as one another, and the intake port (2a) may be positioned toward the inside of the case (1) relative to the projecting end section (10b) of the stepped section (10).
