The present invention relates to a door assembly for opening and closing a storage chamber of a refrigerator, a refrigerator comprising the door assembly, and a method for producing same. A refrigerator according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a main body; a storage chamber located in the interior of the main body and having an open front side; and a door assembly for opening and closing the open front side of the storage chamber, wherein the door assembly comprises: a front plate forming the front side and both lateral sides of the door assembly; a rear plate coupled to both lateral sides of the front plate from the rear thereof; a door cap for covering the top or the bottom of the door assembly; and a connecting member having a first connecting part coupled to the front plate and a second connecting part coupled to the door cap.
