<p>A radiation delivery device and method of stabilizing a microwave energy source. The device includes a microwave energy source, and a microwave utilization device coupled to the energy source. A non-reciprocal transmission device couples the source to the utilization device, the transmission device receiving an unutilized portion of the energy from the device. The transmission device conditions the unutilized energy and returns the conditioned energy to the source. The transmission device comprises a first component that operates to adjust a first property of the energy such that the adjustment does not affect any other properties of the energy. The returned conditioned energy functions to modify the frequency of the source such that the unutilized energy in the system is minimized, thereby stabilizing the frequency of the energy output by the source.</p> |
