<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which efficiently decomposes a metabolic object component by controlling compatibility with the metabolic object component such as hydrocarbon of a microorganism belonging to the genus Rhodococcus, that is, bringing about a change from the state of adsorption to the objective component to the state of transition thereto. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, an inorganic salt added to a culture medium for bacteria is used to metabolize a lipophilic solvent by using the bacteria belonging to the genus Rhodococcus. The inorganic salt affects the localization of the bacteria to the lipophilic solvent. The method uses the bacteria belonging to the genus Rhodococcus, which change the bacteria from the form of adsorption to the solvent to the form of transition to the solvent by adjusting the concentration of the inorganic salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
