<p>The invention relates to a needling machine for needling a fibrous web, wherein a needle bar is guided in an up-and-down motion by a movable bar carrier. The bar carrier is driven by a vertical drive, which has at least one crank mechanism having a bearing point. In order to supply lubricant, a lubricating device is associated with the crank mechanism. The lubricating device is coupled to the bearing point by means of a lubricant line. In order to avoid time-intensive maintenance cycles of the lubricating device to prevent leaks that lead to soiling of the fibrous web, according to the invention a monitoring means is associated with the lubricating device and/or the lubricant line, by means of which monitoring means impermissible lubricant discharge outside of the bearing point can be detected.</p> |
