Disclosed are a temperature measurement device for a generator water cooling coil and a temperature measurement method for a water cooling coil using the same. According to an aspect of the present invention, a temperature measurement device, which is to measure a temperature of cooling water flowing a water cooling coil of a generator, comprises: a body unit of which the inside is hollow; an electrode unit wherein a portion of the body unit is stored to be slid; an elastic unit generating a restoring force to a direction to push out the electrode unit from the body unit; and a lead wire electrically connected to the electrode unit inside the body unit and extended to an outer side of the body unit of the other side of a unit opposite to the electrode unit.
