<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen-free polyarylate which copes with both high resistance to heat and a high refractive index. <P>SOLUTION: A polyester resin includes a polymerization component which comprises a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component. In this case, the diol component comprises a compound having 9,9-bis(hydroxy fused polycyclic aryl)fluorene skeleton (for example, 9,9-bis(hydroxynaphtyl)fluorene or the like), and the dicarboxylic acid component comprises an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component (for example, at least one selected from a benzenedicarboxylic acid component, a naphthalenedicarboxylic acid component and a biphenyldicarboxylic acid component). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
