The invention concerns a device for electrically heating fluid for a motor vehicle, comprising: - at least one heating body (13a; 13b), - a means for controlling the heating body (13a; 13b), and - an electrical connection means (330) comprising an electrical connector (347) electrically connecting the heating body (13a; 13b) to the control means. The electrical connection means (330) comprises at least one current interrupting means (307) capable of: - mechanically and electrically connecting the electrical connector (347) to the heating body (13a; 13b) when the temperature of the heating body (13a; 13b) is lower than a predefined temperature threshold, and - opening the current circuit between the electrical connector (347) and the heating body (13a; 13b) when the temperature of the heating body (13a; 13b) reaches the predefined temperature threshold. The invention also concerns a heating circuit and a heating and/or air conditioning apparatus comprising such a device.
