A method of fluid content imaging of sample, using a spin-echo single-point (SE-SPI) pulse sequence. After providing an excitation pulse each echo in a multi-echo acquisition is separately phase enconded by a positive gradient pulse before each echo, an identical negative gradient pulse immediately following each echo. K-space data points are acquired for the echoes beginning with a k-space origin data point at a near zero evolution time from the FID following the excitation time. The whole process is repeated with the sign of the phase-encoding gradients being inverted. Finally, an image is generated by transforming the k-space data points via a Fourier transform. |
