摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste composition for electrode formation capable of forming an n-type diffusion layer in a specific part without forming an unnecessary n-type diffusion layer on a semiconductor substrate and forming an n-type diffusion layer at a time of heat treatment when forming an electrode without providing newly a process for forming a selective n-type diffusion layer, and a solar cell having an n-type diffusion layer and an electrode formed by using the paste composition for electrode formation. <P>SOLUTION: The paste composition for electrode formation given with an n-type diffusion layer forming function comprises: metal particles; glass particles containing donor elements; resin; and a solvent.
