<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a monitoring system, capable of always recognizing a monitored object easily and quickly. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a near infrared camera 10, a far infrared camera 20, an imaging controller 31, and an external output controller 36. The near infrared camera 10 has an optical axis C1 for imaging an object at a visible region or a near infrared region. The far infrared camera 20 has an optical axis C2 parallel to the optical axis C1 for imaging an object at a far infrared region, and is arranged adjacent to the near infrared camera 10. The imaging controller 31 interlocks the zoom function of the near infrared camera 10 and the zoom function of the far infrared camera 20 to provide a same viewing angle, and acquires simultaneously a near-infrared image imaged by the near infrared camera 10 and a far-infrared image imaged by the far infrared camera 20. The external output controller 36 switches an output between the near-infrared image and the far-infrared image acquired by the imaging controller 31 on the same screen of an output portion 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
