Disclosed are a data transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: using a first encoding mode to encode a data flow of a first receiving end so as to obtain a first encoded data flow (S101); using a second encoding mode to encode a data flow of a second receiving end so as to obtain a second encoded data flow (S102); using a third encoding mode to encode the first encoded data flow and the second encoded data flow so as to obtain a data flow to be sent (S103); and sending the data flow to be sent to a corresponding receiving end via an antenna (S104). Since a data flow to be sent is obtained by encoding a first encoded data flow and a second encoded data flow in the method, the data flow to be sent can be sent through one time-frequency resource, i.e. two or more sets of user equipment can be scheduled in one time-frequency resource, thereby effectively improving a resource utilization rate. |
