Disclosed is a device to install a piston assembly for an engine. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device includes a number of piston assemblies placed on a sub pallet by being transferred to an engine assembly line while a con rod and piston rings are assembled in a piston assembly line; a cylinder block placed on a main pallet placed in a position separated from the sub pallet in the engine assembly line; a robot in which both arms move in a moving range by corresponding to positions of the sub and main pallets; a purge unit installed at a front end of an arm, corresponding to the sub, among both arms, and clamping and purging one among the piston assemblies placed on the sub pallet; and a press-in unit installed at a front end of an arm, corresponding to the main pallet, among both arms, and inserting the purged piston assembly, delivered from the purge unit, into a cylinder of the cylinder block while the assembly is being clamped. |
