<p>The present invention relates to a center correcting device for an axle housing welding jig for rapidly and accurately correcting the position (which is called centering) when an axle housing with a built-in final power conveying unit of a vehicle is settled in a base of an automatic welding device. In a bracket placed on both ends of a fixing plate, a left screw is formed on the outer circumferential surface of one side and a right screw is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the other side, and in the center, both ends of a screw driving axis for letting a pinion gear rotate as one body are supported to be able to rotate. A worm driving axis connected to the pinion gear to be able to rotate is placed in the center of the fixing plate. A jig support fixture for moving by changing a rotation motion into a straight motion is placed along a spiral on both ends of the screw driving axis. A settling jig, wherein the outer circumferential surfaces of both sides of the axle housing are settled, is placed on the front end of the jig support fixture. The settling jig is narrowed or widened by the rotation driving of the screw driving axis and contacts the outer circumferential surface with a threshold of the axle housing. Therefore, when the position is not correct, the position is corrected by pushing the side which contacts first.</p> |
