Disclosed is a technique for backing up a specific product which has been stored in an IC card and used by utilizing a server such that the product can be reused in the future. Particularly, the technique can be useful when a new product is desired to be stored in the IC card but there is insufficient storage space in the IC card. For reuse in the future, a transaction serial number stored in the IC card related to the specific product is backed up with the specific product.
