<p>The present invention relates to a method for evaluating an activity of nitric oxide production ability, which comprises: a cell culturing step of culturing cells in a culture medium containing ^(15)N_4-arginine; a sample preparing step of preparing a sample by adding D_4- citrulline, which is a standard sample, in a cell lysate of the cultured cells; and a step of analyzing the prepared sample by an LC-MS/MS analysis method. The present invention is capable of a quantitative analysis compared with a conventional method, has an excellent sensitivity, and is capable of predicting a metabolic pathway. Furthermore, the present invention has the advantage of exhibiting excellent safety and reliability compared with a method of measuring radioactivity by using conventional radioisotopes. In addition to the nitric oxide production ability, the present invention has the advantage that relevant amino acids such as arginine and dimethylarginine can be simultaneously quantified.</p> |
