Disclosed is a channel estimation method comprising: receiving reference signal resource configuration information of a target cell, where the number of pieces of the reference signal resource configuration information of the target cell is greater than 1; performing a channel measurement with respect to the target cell on the basis of the reference signal resource configuration information; and, reporting a channel measurement result of the target cell to a service cell. Correspondingly, also disclosed are a cell handover method, a related device and system. Employment of the present invention solves the problem in the prior art that channel qualities of different downwardly inclined beams of a target cell cannot be acquired, and, channel measurement results of the target cell in the different downwardly inclined beams measured are reported to a service cell for cell handover, thus greatly optimizing the flexibility in cell handover, increasing resource utilization rate or spectral efficiency, increasing system capacity, and better implementing dynamic changes in the coverage of each cell.
