<p>The present invention relates to a display device, which particularly can reduce change of a color coordinate over time, and a method for driving the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the display device includes: a plurality of gate lines which transmit gate signals; a plurality of data lines, which transmit positive data voltages and negative data voltages; a first color pixel including a first switching device connected with the gate lines and the data lines, and a first capacitor connected with the first switching device, and displays a first color; and a second color pixel that includes a second switching device, connected with the gate lines and the data lines, and a second capacitor connected with the second switching device and displays a second color different from the first color. An optimal common voltage with respect to the first color pixel is lower than an optimal common voltage with respect to the second color pixel.</p> |
