<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a ferritic stainless steel sheet less in rust formation by suppressing the production of a soluble sulphide based nonmetallic inclusion, such as CaS that forms an origin of rust formation. <P>SOLUTION: A ferritic stainless steel sheet less in rust formation includes an oxide based inclusion and has an [S] concentration in steel of 0.002% or less. The oxide based inclusion mainly contains CaO and Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, and an average composition of the inclusion with a diameter of 2μm or longer satisfies expressions of [(CaO)+(MgO)]/[(Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>)+(SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>)+(TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>)]≤0.50 and (FeO)≤1.5%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
