<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a concentrator with exhaust of a high relative humidity (for example, 90 to 100 %RH) comprising volatile organic compounds subsequent to decreasing its relative humidity (for example, 80 %RH or lower). <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas treating apparatus includes: an exhaust feed passage for feeding exhaust gas of a high relative humidity comprising volatile organic compounds via a blower; a heat exchanger that is connected to the exhaust gas feed passage and allows the exhaust gas to pass therethrough; a concentrator constituted of a concentration section that adsorbs volatile organic compounds present in the exhaust gas having passed through the heat exchanger and of a regeneration section that causes the volatile organic compounds adsorbed by the concentration section to desorb therefrom; an air discharge passage that discharges the resulting clean air having passed through the concentration section into the atmosphere; a heat-treatment device for heat-treating the exhaust gas having passed through the regeneration section to subsequently discharge the resulting cleaned high temperature air therefrom; and a hot air passage through which the high temperature air is supplied to the heat exchanger, is characterized in that the relative humidity of the exhaust gas to be supplied to the concentration section is controlled at a specified value by virtue of the high temperature air supplied from the hot air passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
