<p>The present invention relates to an inertial brake device which eliminates a delay when starting after a vehicle being towed brakes, and blocks a movement of an inertial brake when backing up. The inertial brake device comprises: a first piston connected to a towing vehicle; a first cylinder fixed on a vehicle being towed; a first cylinder device to move the first piston relative to the first cylinder by an inertial force of the vehicle being towed according to a movement of the towing vehicle; a second cylinder installed on the vehicle being towed; a second piston connected to a brake device of the vehicle being towed; a second cylinder device to move the second piston relative to the second cylinder according to a movement of the first cylinder device; a fluid storage device connected to a head area of the second cylinder device to supply fluid; and a second valve installed between the head area of the second cylinder device and the fluid storage device, and turned on and off depending on a presence of a brake signal of the towing vehicle to control a flow of the fluid from the head area of the second cylinder device to the fluid storage device.</p> |
