摘要 The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device. The purpose of the invention is to prevent a light leakage of a pad unit by preventing a warpage caused by slimming of a liquid crystal panel by auxiliarily using a thermal curing by an ultraviolet irradiation while bonding an integrated circuit (IC) chip on a pad unit of an array substrate in a chip-on-glass (COG) type. The invention comprises the steps of: manufacturing a liquid crystal panel comprising an array substrate and a color filter substrate; loading the liquid crystal panel on a table; aligning ACF on the pad unit of the array substrate of the loaded liquid crystal panel; aligning the IC chip on the aligned ACF; perform a first bonding of the ACF and the IC chip on the pad unit of the array substrate by descending and pressurizing a head positioned over an upper part of the liquid crystal panel; and proceeding with a second bonding of the ACF and the IC chip by curing by emitting an ultraviolet light to the ACF through the pad unit of the array substrate by using an ultraviolet light source.
