<p>A fixing for mounting a decorative cover such as a valance on the front surface of the top rail of a curtain assembly comprises a hanging seat 5 that in use is hung on the top rail 42 of a curtain assembly, an adjusting seat 6 and a fixing seat 7. The hanging seat has two engaging units 525, each with a plurality of engaging grooves 527. The adjusting seat has two connecting walls 61, each including a resilient strip segment 611 disposed at an inner side of a respective engaging unit 525 and an engaging block 612 formed on the resilient strip segment 611 that in use engages a selected engaging groove. The fixing seat is arranged in use so that it is coupled to a decorative cover 41 and has a supporting tongue 73 extending between the resilient strip segments, the fixing seat being movable between a locked position, in which deformation of the resilient strip segments is not allowed by the supporting tongue and an unlocked position where the resilient strip segments are resiliently deformable to allow vertical movement of the adjusting seat relative to the hanging seat. In use, the position of the decorative cover may be adjusted without completely detaching it.</p> |
