<p>The present invention relates to a door locking device for preventing drunk driving. The door locking device of the present invention comprises: a remote controller for transmitting a door locking signal or door opening signal of a vehicle by user operation; a drunkometer unit formed on the external surface of the vehicle for measuring the alcohol level from the breath of the user, comparing the measured alcohol level and the set alcohol level, and displaying the drunk state through a display unit; a door lock operating unit for locking or opening the door of the vehicle according to an operation control signal; and a control unit installed in the vehicle for determining if it is the drunk level measuring mode when a door opening signal is received from the remote controller, controlling the drunkometer unit to measure the drunk level when it is determined to be the drunk level measuring mode, determining whether to open the door according to the alcohol level received from the drunkometer unit, and outputting the operation control signal for locking or opening the door to the door lock operating unit. According to the device and the method, after the driver gets out of the vehicle, when a door opening signal is received within the set delay time or at a time which is not in the set night time, the door lock can be released without a drunk level measuring process, thereby omitting an unnecessary drunk level measuring process and improving the convenience of the user.</p> |
