The present invention relates to a multi-effect distillation (MED) apparatus equipped with a brine water recirculation system. The multi-effect distillation apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an inlet tube through which seawater is supplied; a heat exchanger for generating steam by heating the seawater; an effect having a tube through which the steam flows wherein the seawater is injected to the tube so some of the seawater evaporate and condense so as to form fresh water and brine water; and a brine water discharge tube to discharge brine water, wherein the one end of the MED apparatus is the brine water discharge tube and the other end thereof is connected to a gap between the sea water inlet tubes.
