Disclosed is a novel double-sided light emitting transparent display device according to an embodiment of the present invention. The double-sided light emitting transparent display device includes a transparent display unit and a processor. The transparent display unit includes a first pixel formed in a first region and a second pixel formed in a second region. The double-sided light emitting transparent display device includes an overlap detection means for detecting whether the first pixel and the second pixel are overlapped. If an overlap between the first pixel and the second pixel is detected by the overlap detection means, the processor performs an image processing for modifying an image signal corresponding to the overlapped first pixel or the overlapped second pixel. A user is allowed to view an image in the double-sided light emitting transparent display device even if pixels are overlapped as the double-sided light emitting transparent display device is folded.
