<p>Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for interoperation between a wireless local area network WLAN and a wireless wide area network WWAN, comprising: sending a wireless local area network media access control WLAN MAC address to a base station through a radio resource control RRC message; and accessing the WLAN network of the base station using the WLAN MAC address. In the method of the present invention, the WWAN and the WLAN can provide the user equipment and the base station with data service together or complementally, and the control method for the WWAN and the WLAN is simple.</p> |
