A variable valve timing control apparatus includes a driving-side rotation member (10) rotating in synchronization with a crankshaft (1) of an internal combustion engine (E), a driven-side rotation member (20) integrally rotating with a camshaft (3) of the internal combustion engine, an intermediate lock mechanism (L) being selectively switchable between a locked state and an unlocked state, a plurality of hydraulic chambers (R), at least one of the plurality of hydraulic chambers being positioned at a lower side than an axis (X) of the camshaft, a plurality of partition portions (22), each of the plurality of partition portions dividing each of the hydraulic chambers into an advanced angle chamber (R1) and a retarded angle chamber (R2), an electromagnetic valve (OCV) including a supply and discharge port (51 a, 51 c) that is positioned at an upper side than the axis of the camshaft and switching supply and discharge of fluid relative to the hydraulic chambers, and a pump (P) supplying fluid to the electromagnetic valve. |
