<p>The present invention relates to a switch gear which can achieve compactness and low costs by increasing extinction capability by comprising a shield for extinction which is floated as having a dual structure. The switch gear of the present invention performs opening/closing between a first electrode and a second electrode, through movement of one of the first electrode and the second electrode. The switch gear includes the floated shield for extinction which is arranged to surround at least a part of a space between the first electrode and the second electrode. The shield for extinction includes: a ferromagnetic center part; and an outer part which surrounds all or a part of the center part and has higher conductivity than the center part. According to the switch gear of the present invention, extinction time can be reduced by increasing extinction effect and electric field mitigation effect due to an eddy current, and separation distance between electrodes can be minimized. Thus, the size of an equipment can be minimized further and thus further cost-reducing can be achieved.</p> |
