Disclosed are a power management apparatus for sharing and using power of a vehicle and a method thereof, charging a vehicle with power during a time when a power rate is cheap and sharing the power charged to the vehicle within a resistance and a non-resistance to be used. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the power management apparatus for sharing power of one or more vehicles between generations includes: a vehicle information storage unit storing information of supply possible power per vehicle; a generation information storage unit storing information of demand possible power per generation; a power request receiving unit receiving a power sharing request from one or more generations; and a power supplying unit supplying the supply possible power of the vehicles to the generation having requested the power sharing within the limit of the demand possible power per generation by referring to information of the supply possible power per vehicle.
