The present invention relates to a composition for manufacturing aluminosilicate tempered glass and a method of strengthening glass using the same. As a chemical strengthening technology specialized in alumino-silicate-based glass, by improving an ion exchange rate by dissolving a new additive to existing KNO_3 molten salt, the present invention enables to reduce process time and increase intensity at the same time.
