PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having superior spot absorbability and a high water absorption speed, leaving little liquid residuals, and, when viewing it from a surface sheet side, having a small area where liquid is spread laterally.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a top sheet 20, a backside sheet 21, and an absorber 10 disposed between both sheets. The absorber 10 consists of a laminate structure formed by superposing two or more layers. A first layer 11 consisting of a resin bond non-woven fabric is disposed at a position closest to the top sheet 21. A second layer 12 formed by distributedly arranging a composite water absorptive polymer 14 to a nonwoven fabric 15 consisting of thermoplastic fibers, is disposed between the backside sheet 21 and the first layer 11. The composite absorptive polymer 14 is configured by embedding a fiber material at least in a part of the absorptive polymer surface. |
