PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straightening method and a straightening device of a steel plate capable of suppressing that a defective shape of the steel plate due to wear of a roller after cutting occurs.SOLUTION: A straightening method of a steel plate has a process of straightening defective shape of a steel plate S by using a roller leveller 1 which includes a plurality of upper and lower levelling rollers 2U, 2D arranged in a zigzag shape in the vertical direction along the length direction of a steel plate and a wedge 5 which can change rolling reduction to the steel plate S along shaft directions of the plurality of upper and lower levelling rollers 2U, 2D. Therein, the wedge 5 is controlled and the defective shape of the steel plate S is straightened such that a difference of rolling reduction in the shaft direction between a levelling roller which applies a plastic bending at last to the steel plate S and a levelling roller adjacent to the inlet side direction side of the steel plate of the levelling roller, of the plurality of upper and lower levelling rollers 2U, 2D comes to allowance value predetermined from a camber height of the steel plate S after straightening in accordance with steel plate conditions and the straightening conditions or less. |
