The present invention relates to a rack master for a stacker crane which can be more efficiently used in the case of a low-floor workshop by selecting a certain forking means excluding a series of components for elevation, can induce a remarkable decrease in the error rate caused by elevation, can promote the maximization of space efficiency by actively using a top space, and gives an excellent function for an actual operability and workability such as convenience of maintenance and repair according to simplification of equipment and decrease in load due to a lightweight compared with the area. The rack master of the present invention comprises: a moving bogie (10) having a mobility toward a subject shelf (1) where the product is located and which is bound to a driving rail (2); and one or more forking means (20) piled up for individually handling a plurality of products put on the subject shelf by being mounted on the moving bogie. The forking means (20) comprises: a front driving unit for sliding to the front and the rear in the direction of the pertinent product and determining whether to place in a near place; and a side driving unit for sliding to the sides of the pertinent products and pressurizing and gripping each side of the product. |
