PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a hardware.SOLUTION: The signal switching system includes: plural video image processing sections; a control section that controls the operation of the video image processing sections; and a GUI section that receives a selection operation input of an HD mode or a square division 4K mode as the operation mode of the video image processing section. The control section controls the video image processing section to operate in the HD mode or the square division 4K mode based on the selection operation input which is received by the GUI section. For example, the GUI section receives a selection operation input of either a square division format or a 2-sample interleave division format as the square division 4K mode. |
