PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-definition display device.SOLUTION: A display device comprises a plurality of pixels PX arranged in a matrix on a substrate. The pixel includes a plurality of sub-pixels SPX having different light emitting colors. In the display device, the sub-pixel comprises: an output switch BCT that has a first terminal connected to a first power source line, and has a control terminal connected to a first scanning line; a drive transistor DRT that has the first terminal connected to a second terminal of an output switch, and has the second terminal connected to one electrode of a light emitting element OLED; a hold capacity Cad that is connected between the control terminal of the drive transistor and the second terminal; a pixel switch SST that has a first terminal connected to the control terminal of the drive transistor, has a second terminal connected to a video image signal line, and has a control terminal connected to a second scanning line; and a reset switch RST that has a first terminal connected to a reset power source line, has a second terminal connected to a first terminal of the drive transistor or second terminal thereof, and has a control terminal connected to a third scanning line.
