The present invention relates to a biomarker composition comprising lipid metabolites for diagnosing radiation exposure and a diagnosis method using the biomarker composition. More specifically, provided is a radiation exposure diagnosis kit which uses, as a biomarker, lipid metabolites which may be increased in fibroblasts of a human body due to radiation exposure. Also provided is a diagnosis method using the difference in biomarker comprising lipid metabolites between biological specimens separated from a sample group and a control group, the method which can quickly and efficiently diagnose the existence and the degree of radiation exposure for a patient who is suspected of radiation exposure so as to improve the treatment for radiation exposed patients. The biomarker composition for diagnosing radiation exposure may comprise one or more lipid metabolites selected from the group consisting of palmitic acid, oleic amide (Oleamide), arachidonic acid, lysophosphatidylcholine (16:0), lysophosphatidylcholine (16:1), lysophosphatidylcholine (18:0), lysophosphatidylcholine (18:1), lysophosphatidylcholine (18:2), lysophosphatidylethanolamine (18:0), lysophosphatidylethanolamine (18:1), lysophosphatidylethanolamine (20:4), and lysophosphatidylethanolamine (22:5). |
