<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a toner, by which generation of aggregates of inorganic fine particles can be suppressed in producing a toner by externally mixing a plurality of types of inorganic fine particles having different primary particle diameters.SOLUTION: The production method of a toner includes an external addition step of feeding the following particle mixture to a container of a specific mixing apparatus and treating the particle mixture. The particle mixture comprises toner particles, first inorganic fine particles, and second inorganic fine particles, in which an isolation rate of the first inorganic fine particles with respect to the toner particles is 2% or more and 40% or less; an isolation rate of the second inorganic fine particles with respect to the toner particles is 70% or more and 95% or less; the content of the first inorganic fine particles is 0.1 mass% or more and 3.0 mass% or less; the content of the second inorganic fine particles is 0.1 mass% or more and 2.0 mass% or less; and a number average particle diameter (D1) L1 [nm] of the primary particles of the first inorganic fine particles and a number average particle diameter (D1) L2 [nm] of the primary particles of the second inorganic fine particles satisfy 2.5≤L1/L2≤50 and 5≤L2≤50.</p> |
