<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of achieving a reduction in size of the recording device.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a controller controlling recording operation with respect to a recording medium; a cable connected to the controller; and a carriage being movable in a predetermined movement direction on the basis of control of the controller. The cable passes transversely across and above at least a part of a movement region of the carriage in the predetermined movement direction. Above the movement region of the carriage, a guide member extending in a direction intersecting with the predetermined movement direction and guiding the cable is provided at a position spaced apart from a transportation passage of the recording medium in the predetermined movement direction.</p> |
