<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly lubricate a differential gear without using forced lubrication.SOLUTION: In a power transmission device 20, a reservoir plate 70 defining a differential chamber and a hydraulic fluid storage chamber 65, includes a hydraulic fluid receiving portion 100 disposed on an outer peripheral edge portion 72a of a flange portion 72. The hydraulic fluid receiving portion 100 has: a bottom portion 110 extended from an outer peripheral portion of the flange portion 72 so that it is at least partially positioned at a side part of a drive pinion gear 44 and an upper part of a differential ring gear 45; and a shielding portion 110 extended to a radial outer side from an end portion at a side opposite to the drive pinion gear 44, of the bottom portion 110. The bottom portion 110 is formed to be inclined downward as it approaches the flange portion 72, and a cylindrical portion 71 is formed with a hole portion 71o for guiding the hydraulic fluid flowing down the flange portion 72 from the hydraulic fluid receiving portion 100, to the differential gear 50.</p> |
