<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for correcting a position error of GPS using an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and an operating method thereof. The apparatus includes: an acquisition unit which acquires a N-th IMU position coordinate and a N-th GPS position coordinate at an N point; a calculation unit which calculates a first vector value according to moving to a first IMU position coordinate from a preset initial set position coordinate; and a correction unit which corrects an error of the GPS by using a first GPS initial position coordinate obtained by calculating the first vector value to the first GPS position coordinate.</p> |
