<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a liquid crystalline polyester by fusing and polymerizing a source monomer, pulverizing the obtained fused-polymerized material, and then polymerizing the material in a solid phase, in which the pulverized material is prevented from sintering at the time of solid-phase polymerization.SOLUTION: The production method of a liquid crystalline polyester includes: a step (1) of fusing and polymerizing a source monomer to obtain a fused-polymerized material; a step (2) of pulverizing the fused and polymerized material to obtain a pulverized material having a weight average particle diameter of 1400 to 3300μm; and a step (3) of subjecting the pulverized material to solid-phase polymerization to obtain a solid-phase polymerized material.</p> |
