The helical drill bit (20) defines a helical end section (20i) of a helical structure formed at its periphery by an auger (9') of an excavation assembly, 5 and it is associated or associable with a support portion (23) of the auger (9'). Such a support portion (23) defines a proximal section of the helical structure, which has an extension substantially centred around a longitudinal axis (X-X). The helical drill bit 10 (20) is adapted to rotate about the longitudinal axis (X-X) together with the support portion (23) so as to drill a hole in the ground.
